Fake Fullscreen: The Awesome full-screen-api.ignore-widgets
On huge screens with tons of pixels, you want immersive content without losing other windows.
Standard fullscreen steals the entire screen—bad for productivity.
The solution: full-screen-api.ignore-widgets in about:config set to true.

How to Enable
Type about:config in your address bar → Search for full-screen-api.ignore-widgets → Set to true.
What It Does
Clicking a video’s fullscreen button hides browser chrome (tabs, URL bar, menu) but keeps the window size and position. The video fills the browser window, not the entire screen.
Why It’s Awesome
Perfect for tiling window managers on 4K+ displays. Multiple windows side-by-side, video fills its window—not the whole screen.
Less CPU intense than Picture-in-Picture since the browser doesn’t render a separate floating window overlay.
Works in Firefox and Zen Browser.
